What is a Validation Policy?
A validation policy is a simple rule that can be applied at different level (document page, field) that helps to auto-validate the extracted data without requiring human actions.

How-to Create a Validation Policy
Through the myBiros platform available at https://platform.mybiros.com, each user can access their use case of interest and, through the settings, navigate to the Validation section.
From the validation panel:
1. Click on Add Policy.
2. Choose between the preferred policy type.
3. Fulfill the fields of selected policy type.
4. Select where to apply the policy.
5. Give a meaningfull and descriptive name to the policy.
6. Confirm to create the new validation Policy.

Policies Types
The type of validation policy determines the type of validation that will be applied to the field or page of the document. Currently, there are two types of policies:
Mandatory Labels
This policy type implies that one or more fields must necessarily have been extracted.
Label Score
This policy type implies that the field, if extracted, must have a score greater than or equal to the given value.
How-to Enable AutoValidation
Auto-validation is not enabled by default. You need to visit the validation policies page and from there, you can enable or disable the auto-validation feature at any time.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can i temporary disable a validation policy?
No is not possible to temporary disable a single policy. But is possible to delete it.
Can i add more than one validation policy to the same field?
Yes, there are no limits on how many policy can be added to a single fields.
Does Validation Policies order matters?
No, order doesn't matter because each policy is checked independently and all policies must pass their checks.
